For a couple of weeks we have been looking at weathering, erosion, and deposition. First we talked about the terms and what they meant. Then we watched a video explaining and giving examples. After that we played a relay race to demonstrate the actions of each process on our mountain, (foam blocks). After the relay, we split into groups and started creating posters to represent each process. We are still working on these. This week, we dug soil samples, and made predictions as to which would experience the most and least erosion. We conducted the experiment as a whole class and then drew our conclusions. Next week we will finish and present our posters. ~shelton
